I earned my undergraduate Honors degree in Psychology from St. Louis University.
I earned my Masters (M.A.) and Doctorate (Ph.D.) degrees from the APA Accredited Clinical Psychology Program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
I completed my pre-doctoral internship at the APA-Accredited Program at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in the Child and Adolescent Track. Here I worked in the Outpatient Psychiatry, Anxiety Disorders, School Age, Testing, and Insomnia Clinics as well as their Early Psychosis Intervention Center (EPICENTER).
In the fall of 2023 I became a Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) trained provider.
I have been providing psychotherapy and assessment services to youth and families for over 13 years. I have worked as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in Arizona for the past 9 years in private practice settings.
I have training and clinical experience in a university-based specialized anxiety, selective mutism, and school refusal clinic. I have also worked in a neuropsychological practice, university-based testing clinic, and a community mental health center.
I truly enjoy working with youth and their families to help them develop the best versions of themselves. My style is warm and supportive, yet straightforward.
I am a parent myself and have two young sons. My family and I can often be found on bike rides, having water balloon fights, or working in the garden. In my free time I enjoy reading and doing puzzles as well as playing video games and building Lego with my kids.
I have published research in my areas of specialty, provided professional presentations and workshops, and have taught at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Please contact Dr. Rachel for her full Curriculum Vitae.
